On the 28th and 29th of June 2014, Armenian Catholic Patriarchate’s Holy Cross Harboyan High School organized a Kermes for the first time. The theme of the Kermes was this year’s FIFA Wold Cup “Mondial 2014”.
The Holy Cross Harboyan High School’s Kermes was an entertaining and interesting place for all those who liked eating, drinking, watching the football matches, playing, enjoying with friends, and meeting new people. Besides the ice cream, sandwiches, crepes, waffle, pizza, cotton candy, nuts, and carrots, there were also lots of games, like soap football, giant slide, baby foot, wall climbing, and trampoline. Children also got the chance to paint their faces, and play, as well as take pictures with famous cartoon characters.
While children were having fun, adults were impatiently waiting to watch the football games on the huge screen. And at the half time, there were one man show performances and singers trying to entertain and calm down all the football fans.
In these two consecutive days, people were visiting Holy Cross Harboyan High School’s kermes, leaving all their worries and enjoying as much as they can with their loved ones.
Special thanks to the school’s Principal Mrs. Rita Boyadjian and all the staff and crew, who contributed by dedicating their time to make this kermes a success.
