PM Pashinyan holds farewell meeting with Ambassador of Argentina

Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan received on August 15 Ambassador of Argentina to Armenia Gonzalo Urriolabeitia, who completes his diplomatic mission in Armenia.

As RAMENPRESS was informed from the Office of the Prime Minister of Armenia, the PM highly assessed the contribution of the Ambassador to the development of relations between Armenia and Argentina and wished success in his future activities. Nikol Pashinyan noted that Argentina is a friendly country for Armenia, and there is high level of political dialogue between the two countries. Referring to economic partnership, PM Pashinyan highlighted the involvement of the major Argentine company Corporación América in the Armenian economy and added that Armenia is interested in further deepening of trade and economic relations.

The Ambassador of Argentina to Armenia thanked NIkol Pashinyan for the appreciation and effective cooperation and noted that it was a great honor for him serve to the mission of developing the relations of the two countries. According to him, the political relations between Armenia and Argentina are excellent, and there is the potential and mutual will to continuously develop also economic relations.

Nikol Pashinyan noted that Armenia is proud of the vigorous Armenian community in Argentina, which is actively involved in the political, economic and cultural life of the country and has a great role in the strengthening of inter-state relations. The PM expressed gratitude for the balanced position of Argentina on Nagorno Karabakh conflict and for its steps aimed at the recognition and condemnation of the Armenian Genocide.
